It's fair, but not exelent
This is an "ok" match for the original Polk speaker, but it isn't really the same. Sound quality is marginal to good. The quality doesn't match the original nor does the physical parameters match the Polk speaker. It is an ok replacement, but I really hoped for better sound reproduction than it puts out. Power handling is marginal. It maxes-out at 1/2 Power on the subwoofer, unless bass is recorded at lower levels. The dust cap is 1/3 the original size, as is the suspension. The magnet is slightly lighter. All in all it makes for a very easy replacement, but don't expect it to match or rival the original Polk driver. It's not junk. Just be aware what you are ordering. Fine for basic movie watching, but not great for window rattling experiences or audiophile moments. The bass that it produces is acceptable range-wise. Just don't push them too hard.

Great replacement speaker.
So far, it has brought back to life a 26-year-old Polk Audio speaker given to me by my 92-year-old dad. I say, so far, because I have no idea how old this product is, but it's been a great sub for the original driver that became broken in where the coil/cone separated from the magnet.
