Less useful at range
I have had a shorter version for years which worked perfectly until the extension pole broke. The new 10’ version definitely gets to places I couldn’t reach before. But at full stretch, it doesn’t seem to work, ie the spring doesn’t trigger the trap, instead the down force seems to bend the rod rather than trigger the spring; when fully extended the spring just pushes the ball down into the silt. I have tried pushing sideways; Sam result - it pushes the ball away rather than springing the trap. It may be better at a shorter length. Or getting balls from under bushes when you can press the ball against some resistance. I do like the new yellow catch that stops the inner circle triggering when its in the golf bag.

Excellent for the use it’s meant for.
It is a very good product but would be even better if you could use the little yellow catch on it. It is too difficult to use the catch. I had to get someone else to open the catch and now you cannot move it back. It really defeats having it on their in the first place .
