Past their best? Nah!
These ones were advertised as having gone past their BBD by a few weeks, but still taste as good as always do. I rare pay much attention to Best Before Dates, as this different to Sell By Dates. Sure, they might not be as perfect as the manufacturer intended them to be, by i couldn't notice any difference, bar perhaps one or two bars showing a little discolouration in the choclate, but that's just the cocoa milks 'leeching' out & by no means does that mean they've gone off or harmful at all. I've had a lot choclate like that before..it's fine. And as proof that since i'm typing this....i haven't died from food poisoning! These BBDs are nonsense imo, it's the fresh stuff you've gotta watch out for! ;-) Half the price of in date retail stock..and they taste just as deliously dark as ever. The dark ones are not easy to find in crocery stores, certainly not in multipacks as the milk variety can be found easily.
