Best price around !
This Lasermax sells for twice this price in most stores. Great little laser, looks like part of the 10/22 when installed. I had to remove my front sight to install it as I'm using a tall Nodak Spud NDS44 front sight, a think it will slip over stock front sight posts.
Zeroing it in took a little time, you use a very small allen wrench and it's very sensitive, you don't need to turn the screws much at all. Once you get on target it seems to stay there just fine. I fired at least 100 rounds after zero and it never moved a bit. This is more for plinking and fun for me. For the price I figured why not. In bright daylight, like most lasers, it washes out with distance. I could see this being very useful for night time hunts when optics or irons are tough to see. If you had no choice but to use a 10/22 for self defense this will give you a very accurate point and shoot advantage if nothing else.
