WARNING - READ THIS BEFORE YOU OPEN THE PACKAGE!
Something you NEED to be aware of before you open the package. This thing ships with needed screws and a tool to adjust windage and elevation. The tool comes in a small bag so that is not a problem. THE SCREWS ARE IN THE PACKAGE LOOSE! I opened the package unknowing and they scattered. It was only by the Grace of God that I found them all. So beware of that before you open. Installation is a breeze and fits as though factory installed. adjustments are easy enough and laser is very bright. I got mine at just over $32 shipping included and at that price this is a real bargain. I am very satisfied and yes, I do recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn't seem "New"
Upon opening the package the cover that holds the battery on fell out, no screws in the package anywhere to be seen.also there was no plastic tab covering the battery as the instructions said there would be to keep it from being activated accidentally in the package, mine was not switched on but it didn't seem like the battery was very strong. on top of that the description says they're generally cited in it 20 yd mine was way way off, that's not an issue though easy to adjust.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I wanted to share my positive experience with the Lazermax CP-1022. When I saw that this product was offered without having to buy the rifle, I was all over it. Well built and a very bright laser.
High quality for a spotting/aiming laser for the price. Easy to install and easy to target since you can use your scope and laser at the same time. Uses 3v lithium battery which is good, more expensive than 2 buttons but it is a much higher quality battery. The laser is very bright. Ordered the LazerMax 90417 and it to be a good fit for my Rugar 10/22 with wood stock. It was factory sealed, in excellent condition, easy to follow instructions. As others have said, when opening factory packaging, take car not to lose the 2 small screws that lose packaged. Perfect fit, Looks "Factory"
Ruger combined with LaserMax. What could be wrong? This fit right onto my new 10/22 with synthetic stock. I mention this because the new model stock has a molded in sling swivel on the nose of the forestock. No need to cut it off or alter, because the Lasermax slips right on, no problem. I had a screw loose
Would have given 5 star but battery case was Heldon by rubber band and screws were loose in package and opened container one fell on carpet not knowing they were not secured. I have not used just played with as of this writing, but price was most definitely a key factor in this purchase. I can see the ease of installation, and if as advertised is pretty close to being set at 25 yards this will be great. Lightweight, side mounts for accessories, easy to adjust on initial sight set
Installation is easy and instructions are complete and well written. Fit and finish are great, fits snuggly to the stock while still securing the front of the barrel. The push button on/off is easily accomplished with out physically looking, just slide your support hand forward to the front round section and you feel the buttons easily. The accessory mounts on the sides make for a great place for flashlight mounting left or right side. This Lasermax sells for twice this price in most stores. Great little laser, looks like part of the 10/22 when installed. I had to remove my front sight to install it as I'm using a tall Nodak Spud NDS44 front sight, a think it will slip over stock front sight posts. Zeroing it in took a little time, you use a very small allen wrench and it's very sensitive, you don't need to turn the screws much at all. Once you get on target it seems to stay there just fine. I fired at least 100 rounds after zero and it never moved a bit. This is more for plinking and fun for me. For the price I figured why not. In bright daylight, like most lasers, it washes out with distance. I could see this being very useful for night time hunts when optics or irons are tough to see. If you had no choice but to use a 10/22 for self defense this will give you a very accurate point and shoot advantage if nothing else.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
