Looks good, easy installation
This extension was easy to install, however, on my Yamaha 650 v star the kick stand where this extension mounts is only 1/2" in diameter. To get a good tight fit, I had to cut a small piece of rubber hose to insert between the clamp and the kickstand to get a proper fit. The instructions said it would fit 1/2" diameter and up but to me it was too loose and wouldn't tighten sufficiently to stay in place without the rubber shim. Great finish appears to be stainless steel, sturdy but a little too pricey for what you get. Should be priced more like 15-20. dollars would be a lot moe reasonable. Does not work
This kick stand extension is a waste of time. No matter how tight I put the clamp the stupid thing rotates on the kickstand. I moved this around on the kickstand up high on the stand in the middle of the stand and down where the foot is. When you are lowering the kickstand with your foot as it get down to the bottom of the travel the force you are applying changes and either you bend the extension or the extension rotates on the kickstand. I store my bike on a stand that holds the bike upright so the kickstand is up when I get on the bike in my garage. Yesterday I got on the bike and scraped the inside of my ankle. I scraped it on the pointed end of this stupid extension that sticks straight out from the bike. Worst $35.00 I ever spent. Really bad design. Jim Binghamton NYVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just bought a 2007 - Honda VTX1300. Could NOT get my big feet to put down the kickstand! This is actually a design fault from Honda. Kuryakyn solved the problem with this extension. Thought it was a little pricey but sure did make it easy to get the kickstand down. Sticks out just enough to get your heel on it with ease. I really like it my foot used to slip off the cake stand when it was wet I put that on it took a little adjusting but I finally got to the point where it doesn't scrub the ground and it's really easy to get the kickstand down. Almost did myself in!!
Having this kickstand extension is great. I almost tipped my ride over as I had to use my heel to grab my kickstand to lower it into place. Several times I slipped off of the stand, had to quickly find my balance. The kickstand was still not in place but at least I wouldn't have to pick my heavy ride up from the ground. I heard that every time you tipped your bike over it was a hundred dollar bill so this product has already saved me money. Nice Kickstand Extension
Although I believe this was a bit pricey, it does what I needed it to do. I had to bend it more than it was to work on my motorcycle but I can now extend the kickstand from the frame so that I can put my kickstand down.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works Just Right
I always had trouble hooking my foot on the kickstand with out sliding my foot on the other chrome in the area and scratching it up. Fixes Honda’s design deficiency.
