Giro Atmos Helmet Pads
These are much more thick than the OEM which is a good and bad thing. The good is that they are over 2x's thicker than an OEM helmet pad. How long they will last I have not been able to rate this part as I have only been riding with the new product for a couple of weeks now. What I dislike is I happen to wear a sweat ban under my helmet and it makes the helmet feel so tight specifically with the Giro Atmos. I have to keep the grip knob in the back of the helmet fully open and loose, I can barely fit the helmet any longer. This is just my personal experience. So if you ride with anything including a bandana you will have to keep that in the back of your mind. I am still getting use to it, but it almost makes me get a headache for the 1st 5-10 minutes of wearing the helmet. The other thing I notice when I don't wear my sweat ban, the extra padding seems to allow much more sweat to fall onto my glasses & into my eyes compared to the thinner OEM version padding. This again is just my experience I have noticed. I am not saying the padding is bad or malfunctioning by any means. So it is comfortable without wearing any other items under the helmet, but be advised if you do.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
