Initially good but my one had a fault and broke.
Initially, these loppers seemed very good, easy to use and excellent value (I paid £16). Unfortunately after a couple of days use, the anvil part sheared and bent over, rendering the loppers unusable. They are supposed to cut up to 4cm thick branches, and this happened on a branch that was only 2cm. Shame, because they were really sharp and effective before that. I may just have been unlucky with this unit - perhaps there was a fault in the metal, or they may have twisted during cutting to cause the problem.

You get what you pay for.... Pay more and go for a proper known brand
The shame is that it does not always cut first time. I bought this to replace my 30 year old ones I bought for next to nothing in Woolworths. These look the part but they sure are not great. I have adjusted them but makes no difference. I only bough these as in Lockdown and needed to do jobs around the garden to stay busy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looked at several different lopers before settling on these, price was reasonable quality looked ok. I used for first time and found the extending handles needed to be constantly tightened whilst using and the cutting action was atrocious.
