A gadget really - doesn't really do anything a Sony point and shoot cant do - but I don't regret getting it
Nice , well built camera - phone is the viewer - smallish sensor that takes good photos and links well with a phone ( uses wifi with an iPhone which is a bit of a faff to set up, supposed to be easier with an android - so this is not for the quick snaps - but then the your phone itself does that for close ups . I got it for travel really. As an example, recently while abroad I was having cup of coffee on the second floor of an open air restaurant and about 30 feet away in the top of a tree ( whose top branches were on a level with me) a wild 3 toed sloth started feeding in the branches with its young - all the pictures i took of them on the phone were blurry and too indistinct but i'd left my bigger camera back at the hotel - That particular situation isnt going to happen again of course - but thats the kind of thing I got this camera for ( you need to get a decent case as well IMHO ) ,I almost always have a small backpack with me that it can fit it in, so its for when you have time and the need to set it up - doesnt take that long but long enough to preclude candid off the cuff moments - though of course you can just use it as a camera without connecting the phone - but that really is taking pot luckVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Useful lens to carry around
This lens is useful to fill the gap between phone camera and compact camera. It's a little slow to connect with the phone, so not so good for spontaneous shooting and the connection occasionally stops but on the whole this is a useful lens to carry around rather than a bulkier camera.
