Parrot Zik 1 - A really great pair of headphones!
For those that have not tried the Parrot Zik headphones but may have doubts, let me try and reassure you that they are a truly fine pair of headphones. First off let me say that I have never been a headphone enthusiast, always preferring a loudspeaker instead. And that is still true. But if one must own headphones then I cannot recommend these enough. The sound a terrific along with what I think is the best noise cancellation out there. It is extremely impressive when travelilng - planes, trains or automobiles and it really shines. And these are the places I use the Parrot Ziks the most. BTW, this is the first model 1. I have not tested the two or three, though it seems to me the upgrades are modest and maybe not worth it at this point. Stick with the 1 and you'll be happy especially as you can find these for as little as $80 refurbished, as I did. They are perfect and at that price this has to be one of the great values in audio. You will see that a number of people complain about the short battery life, for me it's close to about 5 hours with everything on, and also you'll see complaints about the lower audio quality for phone calls. Both of these critiques are true but in my opinion not that big of a deal. Certainly not for $80. Can't recommend the Parrot Zik 1s enough!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent for the price
I got these to replace my lost Bose 15s so my point of comparison is pretty high and they pretty much do the job I got them for so I can't complain too much. Just a few things: Good: • Wireless • adjustable noise cancellation and equalizer levels • Nice looking Bad: • Hella short battery life. Need to be recharged every couple of hours • Sound can be 'boomy' or 'echo-y,' especially on the app soundstage settings • Mic quality on calls is not great • Leaning your head back makes the bluetooth connection temporarily cut out • Control of on/off & volume via magnetized side panel is clever but not without learning curve. • Accidentally touching magnetized side panel produces unwanted results.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Comfortable, Great Sound, Cool Features.
The build is nice. An improvement over first gen. Fits my head well. ear cups and head band are comfortable. Noise canceling works really well. Sound quality is not 'audiophile level', but very good for bluetooth. Well balanced sound, warm base, crisp high end. Adjusting EQ through app is very easy. Downloadable EQ presets are pretty cool. Volume control, pause, and track select are on the can itself, and are reasonable well designed features. Some reviews complain about the battery, but I found it adequate for my personal use. Superb Sound, Great noise cancelling, very comfortable
These factory refurbished units are indistinguishable from new - same packaging, no evidence that they are refurbished - except a huge price difference! My use is for noise cancelling on airplanes, and in a shared office environment. Very comfortable - I have a fairly large head, and these fit great. Earpiece padding is soft and comfortable, fitting around my ears snug without pinching. The headband is well padded The headphones cannot be classed as light - they are reassuringly solid construction, and the weight is not noticeable when worn The noise cancelling is excellent, even without music playing. Telephone conversations are good: caller clarity is good; microphones pick up my voice well. Music sound quality is outstanding. The android smartphone app is intuitive, and gives excellent control of all aspects of the sound. The only downside is that battery life is not great. great for the price
bought it for a very good price. name brand NC headphones for less than a third of the price of competing models. although its very outdated it still looks and sounds good. the only con is that its a little heavy, that might be a problem if you're wearing it for hours continually. i can live with it. setup also had a hickup, couldn't update the firmware via the app (network issue message), had to update via pcVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Comfortable and great sound!
Have wanted a set of these since they were released so many years ago. And thanks to e-bay, I finally have a set. After fully charging, I played around a bit, was able to clear the previous profile, update the firmware and POW. These sound great and super comfortable. I was expecting to replace the cups, but these are soft and have been able to wear these for a couple hours at a time, listening to music and also connected to my Apple TV to watch youtube reviews and Star Wars. The best ever
Outstanding headphones. For sure the wireless is incredible, no cords. The sound is just like my $300 Bose QC's. These Parrots are also alot lighter than I thought and the comfort around the ear is awesome. I love the side touch of the headphone for volume and track changes and on-off and phone call answering. Holds battery charge alot longer than competitors.
