Kg's Boot Guard is tough and permanent! It will not crack, peel, or flake off. Simply brush on the first coat, let dry for two hours, brush on one last coat, and dry overnight. The applicator can be cleaned with mineral spirits for reuse.

Rugged look and very tough.
I applied this as described. Kind of looks cool, albeit primitive. But it seems quite durable. Unfortunately it hasn't rained out here for a long time so I can't see if it sealed the leaky sole. I know that's not the purpose. But that would be a nice bonus and would buy me some time before replacing my work boots. I work as a roadside rescue patroller along with the state police and emergency first responders so my workload is varied: from changing tires to putting out car fires. No sign of chipping yet. And it is very glossy actually. This helps it not look so... Chunky. Nevertheless, this WONT make your boots better looking. But it is as durable a bed liner. Should extend the life of boots significantly. I seems somewhat flexible. It isn't like rubber, but it isn't gonna just crack from bending. 3/6/2022 around 6am I applied this to my boots following the instructions of intense stirring for 1 minute. Now over 24 hours later I cannot use the boots this stuff is not dry it is still tacky even after leaving them in front of a heat source for over 12 hours. This stuff puts a super tuff coating on the toe areas of work boots. My sons new boots were getting scuffed up on the toes area. Top notch shoe and work boot protector
This stuff is awesome ! When u apply properly !! There are YouTube vids that down play it but it wasn’t applied properly. This stuff is tough and will extend the life of your work boots or what ever type of shoe you want to protect. This works well but i have some advice for would be purchasers so here goes. This product uses volatile solvents wear work gloves and use out doors if possible. It is very drippy/spattery so protect things you dont want it on like tape parts of shoes you dont want to coat use something like a piece of cardboard under your project If it you. It wipes up pretty well when first spilt but you may indeed need mineral spirits to really clean it up. I used cooking oil to get it off my skin (asap) then soap n water. It's on every pair of boots I own
I am a welder and a lot of my work has me crawling around on my hands and knees dragging my poor boot toes across concrete, and chemgrate which for anyone that doesn't know what chemgrate is ,it is death to boots every where it basically the sharpest grittiest rocks glued down to fiberglass for traction and it destroys all this except for KG's boot guard.
