My First Bluetooth Headset
I purchased this headset after doing independent research online. Plantronics has a superb reputation for excellence AND innovation! After a day or two of muddling about learning how to use the headset, I must say that I am very satisfied with my choice of Plantronic's M-55. A few design flaws
The activation button is located where you pick up the device causing inadvertent redials and hang ups when you adjust when in your ear. The noise cancellation is poor, I did not think this would be an issue but background noise instantly becomes a problem when you use this device. For example turning on the water to wash dishes is very loud and distracting for the other person. Just What I Need When Driving
Most of the time I do not have my phone on while driving, except when I am expecting an important call. I purchased this when I lost my 8-7 year old Plantech headset and found myself actually glad that I lost the other one. What I like most is its voice command features and improved clarity. Good voice quality - does the job
I am not one who wears a headpiece all day and this little one suits me well - easy to put on and take off and works well. I like the sliding on/off switch. It prevents inadvertent activation while in my pocket. Sound quality is excellent. Quick and easy to take in and out of my ear even with sunglasses on. Perfect for hands-free in the car. I had to order a large ear gel separately since the one it comes with was too small for my ear. M55 Plantronics Earpiece
The M55 is the best Plantronics earpiece for my needs as a professional non-emergency medical transport driver. Comfortable enough to wear all day, even long days, 11 hours talk time, good clarity recieving and sending, easy, intuitive operation, I like the M55 better than any other plantronics earpiece.
