Great for heavy furniture
Great idea for heavy furniture making moving so much easier. Doesn’t work so well on lighter chairs i.e. tub chair as needs a lot of weight to hold discs down or just slides off pads. Also not greatly attractive when furniture legs in sight and having to lift furniture up to put in place each time needs moving would defeat the object. Not Great
I needed to move a heavy bed whilst redecorating. I’m on my own, so whatever I used HAD to work. I’ve used ‘sliders’ like these on different floor surfaces, and they have worked fine on laminate and carpet. However, my bedroom is to have new flooring, so at present it has only rough old floorboards. The ‘gliders’ just popped out from under the bed-legs, and I gave up on them. I then bought little orange ‘rollers.’ Now THEY worked really well, except they only move forwards or backwards... no turning corners (which I also needed to do!) My final purchase was for a set of ‘dollies’ - that seems to be what they’re called (!) Anyway - they worked a treat! I was able to move the bed around the room with ease, and I’ll be keeping them safe for future use. By all means choose the plastic ‘gliders’ if you have smooth, even floors; but they were not much help with my situation.

Very pleased with the product
The design is very good as there's a pad inside the slider that appears to stop the leg of the furniture moving about on the slider while the furniture's being moved. I've placed the sliders under the legs of a really heavy bed and I've moved it with ease. If there's a disadvantage, it's that you have to lift the legs of heavy furniture onto and off the sliders (something I didn't consider!) so there's still some lifting to do. Also, very chunky legs are too big for these sliders. But overall I'm very pleased with the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good idea, but needs some adaptation.
I put these under a heavy futon, gave the futon a push, and it slid straight off them! No, I did not have them upside down, it just seemed thatthe carpet gripped the plastic better than the wooden feet of the futon gripped the foam of the slider. Next I tried a heavy wooden bed . . . Better result but still some sliding off. Adaptation needed!! So, I put strong double-sided tape between furniture leg and foam of the slider, and for good measure gave the underside a coat of silicon spray. Simple and effective.
Purchased these to help me move 2 large double wardrobes on a not so even wooden floor. I just eased up each corner of the wardrobes, enabling me to place one of the sliders underneath and I was able to slide them into their new positions quite easily. item takes the strain out of moving.

A help for heavy jobs, great for lighter item!

great carpet protectors
Great product wish i had found them sooner instead of metal frame of sofas digging into carpet, the sofas will now move more easily when needing to move them , before they used to drag into the carpet, they are easy to fit but a shame they are not self adhesive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked well.
