DID THE JOB
I bought this to replace a similar one I could not find in my shed. I was doing a little job to run a pipe through the wall of my downstairs loo to feed an outdoor tap. I needed to cut 4 pieces of pipe and as I was not using solder joints I didn't want to use a saw and leave a ragged finish. This little cutter did the job including cutting the existing cold pipe close to the wall. It left reasonably clean ends but the one I couldn't find does a cleaner job and with less effort. That said I now have a tap i the garden and no leaks so all in all a successful purchase for very little money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

copper tube cutter
This is a grate value for money gadget, although it is recommended for a minimun size of 3mm tubing i was able to remove the rollers easily with a punch and extend the grove in my lathe so the cutting wheel would fit into the grove, this has made it easy to part 2mm copper tubing(I have not tried 1 mm but I dare say it would do it) a simple yet very useful tool at a competative price, grate for light plumbing and model boiler macking applications and to be recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It`s worked well for me so far. Nice clean cuts. Great for the price!
It works as you`d expect, so far I have only used it to cut 8.5mm aluminium tent poles, but it done that effortlessly, it cut the poles nice and cleanly, so I`m really pleased with it! Look elsewhere
Bought this product to cut through some 3/16 cunifer piping. Cutting wheel wasnt sharp, and just resulted in a very fine thread being created on the pipe when turning it around. Will be looking elsewhere to cut the pipe as this one is next to useless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
