Very sturdy, looks good & fits well. Read a number of reviews that say it twists & the door does not fit well. For me that was NOT the case. I can imagine if you make the opening the wrong dimensions or have out of square rafters or ceiling you will probably end up with a twisted door hatch. Looks Good.
Good value product. I fitted the trims and offered the frame so that it fitted perfectly before fixing. It is a bit fiddley fitting the pivot pins and then definitely needs two people to actually fit the frame to the wooden framing. It looks good when fitted. You only get the pivot key plastic fitting to turn the locking latch so you will need a 12 mm pole or equivalent to attach the pivot key so that you can reach up to unlock the hatch door.. I think for the cost it was good value and looks very neat. It has built in insulation and door sealing strip making it energy efficient..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job.
It's a reasonably robust loft hatch and simple to install. However, once the pins are in then the only way to remove the hatch is to dismantle the frame too. That's not practical. I made an alteration that allows me to remove the hatch easily. The manufacturer needs to change the design to allow for easy removal of hatch from frame once in situ.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
