This is my first Play Arts Kai figure, and I have to say my expectations were firmly grounded but even then I am still a little disappointed. The sculpt is amazing and the silver paint with very subtle purple and green accents looks incredible. I was also not prepared for how HUGE this thing is! My major letdown is the engineering. I have one piston constantly falling out and the barbell joint in the middle of the torso is just a total failure and comes apart from even the slightest of handling. The pistons should have been made out of something other than hard plastic, by the way, because if anything breaks it's going to be them. The wrists and elbows do have those ungainly big ball joints that I knew before purchasing I wasn't going to care for and I was right. They just are unattractive, though I suppose you could lessen their impact depending on how you pose and display your figure. There is a novel joint system in the shoulder that allows for a lot more movement than you have any right to have but depending on how you have it positioned you can have a big gap showing with just this insubstantial connector piece showing. You do get a generous assortment of accessories including the obligatory alternate hands (plus the data spike fist) and the exploded leg holster parts, and the Auto 9 looks good cast in a matte finish. Considering I paid about half of what these retail for, I'm not overly upset, but I am personally defnitely looking for another Robocop figure to fill in my ranks.Read full review

I am just getting into the Action Figure/Collectables fileds, and I decided I wanted to start with supheroes and other famous good guys. Naturally Robocop came to my mind. There are lot of versions of Robocop actions figures on the market. I looked at most, if not all of them. When I came across this one, I went to youtube and looked at several videos reviews on the Playarts 1987 versrion of Robocop. All of the reviews were positive. So, I took a chance and purchased it. The reviews were correct! This action figure has everything. There are several points of articulation from the head to the feet. The box includes three sets of interchangeable hands and a cool theigh hoster for his gun. My one wish is that it came with a display stand. This is because in my mind this figure is more of a display model than a toy for children to play with. At any rate, its a great figure and you will not be disappointed in your purchase.Read full review
