EZ Patch
The claim is that this patch repair works above and below water. It works above water like a plaster, however, below water couldn't get it to stick to the work area (on the bottom) despite cleaning back the edges of the work area and mixing it per the directions. Underwater the repair plaster broke from a stiff plaster small particles like sand and never set up, despite being troweled and pressed into the patch area. Some lumps of the patch did set under water, but they did not adhere to the below the patch area. Just doesn't work underwater in my hands despite three attempts to repair the area- I will use the more expensive epoxy clay next time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does not work
I wanted to do some cosmetic repair to my inground pool, thinking this would be the ideal way to make it look better inexpensively. As they say, you get what you pay for. This stuff does not work under water as claimed, you place it on the spot and it just falls off and dissolves in the water. I tried using less water, made a paste, placed it on the spot, tried to smooth it out lightly but it just settled into the water. I do not recommend this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works really well. I didn't use it below the water level. Above the water level and dry, clean conditions, this stuff is amazing. It cures extremely quick, so you have to measure well and work fast. Don't use underwater
Followed the instructions but the patch disintegrated in a few seconds after being underwater. And the clean up in the water and on the pool floor was difficult since it was not in chunks, but turned powdery. Buy the product to use above water.
