Doesn't work!
My Zircon Studsensor instructions printed on the device said it was supposed to emit a sound. The one I received makes no sounds. When I slowly pass it over the stucco wall and it does flash, it will not repeat the flash upon subsequent passes over the same spot. It is totally unreliable. Now I must return to measuring from the corner every 16" hoping I will hit a stud. Maybe something spiritual will work...
None of the sweeps I made resulted in believable readings. simply all over the place! Mine is an old building and I yield to the notion that the structure of my inner walls may not align with standards, but eventually you should hit something that is always in the same place! I don't. Definately worth it
For the price, it's definately worth it. I didn't really need a whole lot of detail. I just needed to know where the studs were at to hang up my tv's. It got the job done with no problem.
