Via Ferrata forever!
Absolutely awesome carabineer, the wire lock quick release mechanism is a dream to operate. Smooth action with a secure lock, I have 100% confidence in this device the model should have been called the Anti-Vertigo. When when the gate snaps shut I know up to 25Kn of force will be shrugged off. When you're climbing the iron way use Petzl, use Vertigo, it's just the best. The special feature that was the cause of my interest in the Vertigo is you don't have to actuate the gate locking mechanism to close the gate, the wire lock slips down all by itself and the flicks back up into the locked position once the gate is fully closed. Note the wire can be moved down with very little force so make sure the device is fully locked before unclipping your second line. Inspect your carabiniers for dirt as a semi closed device is not lock and as such not as safe. Climb hard people, climb safe. CLIMB WITH PETZL 😁
