Storm sure patch kit
Bought to repair two cracks in a wellie, either side of the ankle. One side has repaired well, however make sure you follow the instructions and make sure the wellie is fully dry. These boots have a neoprene lining which must have held some moisture, resulting in the patch not adhering immediately over the crack. Given that the patches are 75mm across, I think the repair will hold. I’ve said the patch kit isn’t great value for money, as you only get two 75mm patches and a very small tube of adhesive. Stormsure do other products, and I would prefer a roll of adhesive repair tape rather than pre-cut patches, as this would allow running repairs. Mixed feelings
I had a hole in the upper of my Aigle wellies just in front of where the boot curves downwards to the toe of the boot. I did the preparation but found the patches no use at all, i even cut the second one down to shape to make it easier to expel all air. This was a difficult area to patch, However i did expect the patch to have survived one dog walk. BUT the glue has been another story and is brilliant. i looked online and saw a couple of chaps using only the glue to mend their wellies (same brand) and this has worked perfectly creating a good waterproof repair. To summarise, patches 0 glue 5. I do think it is overpriced but when all is said and done my lovely wellies should serve me for a good while yet. Fingers crossed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Repaired my Dedito Wellington boots.
I found watching Utube was a good guide, I followed the instructions but the glue alone was not sufficient to repair the split. I needed to apply the glue and then when tacky apply the patch over the top. The patch is a thin translucent clear plastic patch. They could have made it colored to match the boot colour. It seems like a patch of cling film.. But boot repaired and at present it is holding. Tbe Dedito boots were only 13 months old I'm very dissatisfied with there performance. Very simple & easy to use.

Small holes
Prompt supplier. Welly good! Small hole snagged on waders also fixed. Dried/cured glue adheres well and is flexible and should wear well. Much better than a patch on wellies as these always peel off in time. So far so good but I shan't be cutting my inflatable in two pieces (as per U tube adeo) cos, to fix it, would cost more than a new one in glue! Small tubes should cost less? Repair Wellies

The patches worked well
The glue works I just found it tricky to get the edges to stay together to bond easily because the split was where the boot creases and the hole tended to gap. I think steri - strips that hold wound edges together might help secure a bond ? I ended up using the repair patches which seem to be working well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not fit for purpose
Used the patch on a wellington boot, virtually came off after walking through wet grass, had to wade through a foot of floodwater to get to my car and a wet foot resulted! Tried the glue, have to see how that goes....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does the job
I had a split of about 10mm in a pair of decent Aigle wellies. Stormsure managed to weld the split together and also put a protective film over the top. Works well, easy to use and seems pretty durable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It really works!
I was a bit dubious about it working, as I’d tried to use it before with no success. However, my expensive wellies had a big split and j didn’t want to part with them.
