Stable footing.
Very wide 3 legged base, very stable. Having 'skids' instead of rollers or balls makes it less likely to 'walk' when passing heavy items over it. It has a clever little clamp inside the two runners that can grip doors etc when the head is formed vertically so you can use the stand when planing door sides etc. The stand packs away into a narrow format that makes it very compact to store. Triton multi-stand
Like a strong extra pair of hands. This a stable platform with many uses and stores away easily. The usual sturdy tool I have come to expect from Triton. I mainly use it as an extension for my WCA201 workcentre. The only slight niggle I have with it is the clamping arrangement mounted (as it has to be) close to the ground... the clamping knob has to be wound very tight, if not I've found that under load (e.g. leaning on it while using a drill) it can slip down the shaft. Maybe an extension arm for the knob would help; or some holes in the upright so a pin could be used as a stop?? Overall a good piece of kit... Very versatile
Ive recently discovered Triton tools and will buy more when I have need. I use these as table extenders for my site circular saw for ripping large sheet material and long lengths of timber.
