Great classic never beaten
Why does no one make anything as good as this anymore? Black & Decker stopped making these years ago, but if you can get hold of one they are perfect if you are short on space, or like me need a tool box to take with you in the car for odd jobs away from home. Wouldn't buy another
I bought mine 1/2 price.... I would never have paid full. Flimsy metal with sharp edges (sliced my finger on opening) Had one years ago...... much more robust...... As long as you don't expect too much from a bench at this price it's great. It's easy to use, light to carry, works efficiently in holding things in place so you can't ask formic more! Good basic additional work surface.
I now have a small workshop so needed a work bench that would fold up. I've read some bad reviews about steel quality and difficulty in putting together. I found none of this with mine to be honest. It a great basic extra work surface no more no less, mine sometimes holds an extra metal vice, pillar drill or a grinder all on wooden base boards which the workmate clamps with its jaws.
