Although this is a good enough product it had trouble driving 10mm standard staples into our soft pine chairs. I would probably look at a heavy duty one for this purpose in future. Definitely not suitable for harder woods!

I use this for upholstery preferring the lighter staples you get with this machine than the heavier ones my electric stapler fires. It's up to the job but does benefit from the pressing down with 2 hands to make sure that the staples go fully in. Easy to load with staples Not really anymore to say!
