FINALLY! Something that works!
I've lived in MI my entire life and have ALWAYS been seriously pestered by mosquitoes and severely bitten. No matter what spray, lotion, oil, aroma etc, these coils are the only thing that have EFFECTIVELY repelled mosquitoes and allowed me peace in the outdoors. Hallelujah! Lol! We live in a very wooded, somewhat secluded area that has lots of lakes, streams, rivers, swamps etc. The mosquitoes can LITERALLY be maddening at times. I've tried many, MANY other so-called "solutions." None worked. Don't waste your money on other coils. They're not nearly as effective AND they burn up soooooo much faster than this coil. I've only used the purple/lavender so far but I'm looking forward to trying to find a good deal on the new eucalyptus scent! The lavender scent is prevalent, but I kinda detect a subtle vanilla undertone. I HATE vanilla scented ANYTHING and I CAN actually stomach the vanilla aroma these coils have. The lavender scent is pretty heavy for some people though. Its totally worth getting a box and placing them around the perimeter of the area you need skeeter free if the scent is too intense!! If you don't need to burn an entire coil in one sitting/occasion, the coils CAN be snuffed out and relit at a later time. I do strongly suggest that they be snuffed out with a very small amount of water to avoid possible fire danger/hazards. Too much water will ruin the coil though so be mindful of how you decide to extinguish the coil. Hope this helps someone and may the world be flush with skeeter free outdoor fun! It’s good.
It took almost 2 months to get here, by the time it got here, it’s already cold (fall season) and all the mosquitos are gone lol but at least it arrived in perfect condition. I’ll just have to use it next year. Overall, it’s good. Thanks!
