Works. Stops accelerator noise in speakers.
These things eliminate alternator or accelerator whine noises in your speakers. My issue will come up every now and then and be very annoying while driving. The issues occurs when you press down on the accelerator pedal and the pinch of the whine goes up and down with the engine rpms. What is happening is when you press on the accelerator pedal, it spins the alternator faster. The alternator recharges the battery and provides a current through out the car. So the speed of the alternator spinning, changes the whine noise up and down. This is how you can tell that the alternator whine is your problem and you will need 2 of these units to stop it. Sure you can get away with just using 1 of these, but you have to figure out which power wire is the one that is giving you the whine or maybe both power wires are giving you the whine. It's better to be safe than wait more days to ship another one. The 2 power wire I am talking about is the acc/constant power to the stereo deck and the power switch/when the key is in the acc or on position. I used 1 unit on each of these wires. The blue wire on the unit is the power from your car/battery. The red wire on the unit is the power out to your stereo deck. The black wire on the unit is ground. Very simple to wire up. These are the size of a D battery.
