Dimplex Upright Fan Heater
Although very small for a heater, it's heat output is excellent. The thermostat works well when it's on it's highest heat setting, but I haven't yet tried it on the lower setting. Very convenient to warm the room quickly on a cold morning, if the central heating has only just come on. It's well made and easy to store when not required, although I'm sure it could also be used as a fan in summer when it's really hot. Thermostat Issue
The thermostat is the issue as it is for many reasonably priced fan heaters. It's almost impossible to control low temperatures of between 5 and 10 centigrade. The thermostat pulls for heat on a low setting even in a warm room. Good heater for the price.
Bought as a replacement for a Glen fan heater as the motor on the Glen had failed after about 6 years. The Dimplex has been satisfactory and produces plenty of heat although it is a bit noisey on full power. The only thing I would have liked is a slightly longer mains power lead: it would have been better being about 2 feet longer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
