Strong white light

Better the Devil you know...
The service and speed of delivery can not be faulted from this company, in fact everything from initial communication to receipt of goods has been brilliant!...except for one of the bulbs! I followed the instructions to the letter....wearing latex gloves , uncoupling wired connector, taking off rubber seal/cover, unclipping bulb clip/holder...ensuring bulb is correctly re-positioned etc. The O/S headlight bulb is great....works well and gives great visibilty....but the N/S bulb only seems to give 50-75 % of the comparable light. Tested the wiring loom, bulb holder, clip etc...but all to no avail!.... I cant fault the service....I cannot return the bulbs now they have been used...and my car voltage/electtics seem to be functioning normally....so, either way....I think I should have left my old bulbs alone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Actually better than factory-fitted OEM bulbs.
If you are put-off at all by the price, don’t be – these are a premium product and their quality and performance surpasses even the OEM bulbs fitted at the factory. The light they emit is brighter and the spread pattern is greater than cheaper bulbs. So far I have clocked over two hundred hours of use on my set, and their performance has not diminished at all! Fine, so far.
I wanted an improved, rather than dazzling, performance, so for achieving that I would give them 4 stars, and recommend them. I do not consider this product is better than expected ..maybe slightly less. I can see a difference, but it's marginal, +30% maybe? I think people miss-quote % improvement ...30% better = plus 30%, or 130% of the original, not +130%]. It's not cheap, but if the bulbs last the quoted time and continue to give out a 30%+ better light output, then they will meet the [my interpretation of] the description and my expectations. Better vision, less glare than with standard headlights
Works well with standard headlights (not "projector headlights"). Wider, longer flatter beam than standard bulbs when headlights are dipped. Better cut-off on dipped beam than standard bulbs, less glare for oncoming traffic. Whiter, brighter light than standard bulb, appears to burn hotter than standard bulb. Whiter light on main beam appears to give better vision. If vehicle is equipped with "projector headlights" these bulbs don't make much noticeable difference except giving a slightly whiter light. On my car these bulbs do not last as long as standard bulbs, probably because they need to burn hotter to produce their whiter light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well worth the money
Having used these bulbs previously I knew the increase in visibility would happen. I've just changed cars to an eighteen month old Citroen C3 Aircross and was disappointed with the level of light on dipped beam. Sensible bulb upgrade

Philips Extreme Vision Headlights deliver! I'm out here in the Philippines, some roads are pitch black, with great potholes in some places that can't be seen unless you have strong headlamps. I have used a variety of bulbs over the 7 year life of an Isuzu Alterra, and these by far provide a very bright projection of light without blinding incoming motorists. For the price I am very impressed with these bulbs, though I had the Isuzu dealer install them for me, for whatever reason they had some difficulty installing the left hand side bulb, but they sorted it out eventually. I drive late at night down mountain side roads, and these bulbs will definitely make the drive down all the more pleasant.
