Good keyboard. Not as useful as I thought.
The keyboard works fine. I wanted to use it for Youtube to let me choose music quickly. It turns out that the Youtube smart TV app is not compatible with keyboards, and Samsung says that they only host the apps and it is up to the website developers to decide functions. It turns out that putting the Youtube app on a smartphone or tablet lets you use the device keyboard and I did not need a Samsung keyboard at all. The Samsung TV does sync very easily with phones and tablets. A sync button in the app is all you have to press, with no code entry,so it only takes several seconds to start a session.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Nice, but no cigar.
Unfortunately the keyboard, the QWERTY keys specifically, do not work with *most* of the aps on my Samsung Smart TV that was just manufactured just last month. That means I can't type anything into the YouTube ap, or most other aps. The touchpad works fine, but I've found the basic arrow keys on the standard remote much more efficient. It's great for the Internet ap and works fully there, but generally I save browsing the internet for my PC, not my TV. It also works within the Samsung TV itself, for inputting your wifi password...and that's about it. Real shame, honestly, since it's a pretty sleek keyboard. So unless you frequently browse the internet on your TV, I can't recommend this Smart TV keyboard.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great start, I hope it is improved.
The idea and the physical device over all, are great. The applications leave a little to be desired. The learning curve is somewhat high, some functions do not work as expected, the "scratch pad" mouse is somewhat insensitive, and the mouse keys are almost unusable... but many functions to work well, and the concept is excellent. I would recommend this keyboard, but when (and if) they come out with an improved version, I will buy it. Meanwhile there will be some annoying frustration. many funtions dont work.
it looks nice and built well but you would assume all the keys would work since its a Samsung keyboard for a Samsung smart TV which I have. lots of it doesn't work but the main issue is any key you would have to SHIFT to get the other symbol doesn't work at all so you cant type anything that would require this to be in it. !@#$%^&*()_+}{| ?. There is more that doesn't work but don't have time for this. I'm pretty disappointed spending $100.00 and only half the functions work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Surf to your heart's content
I tried a couple of other generic wireless keyboards, but they did not work correctly with all of the functions of my Samsung Smart TV. The Samsung wireless keyboard makes a world of difference when entering text into apps, websites, etc. over the TV's remote. Decent not perfect
The keyboard is decent and way easier to use than the remote control. However, the pad section is not so easy. Hard to scroll around, often doesn't respond at all. Key functions get messed up. Ok Keyboard
Glad I got this as an "open box" discount. Don't fell it is useful enough to be worth $100. Slow to respond when typing in the Samsung browser on my TV. Great features, but wouldn't pair with my model Samsung TV.

Must have with new SMART HUB SAMSUNG TV's
