Makes a really nice noise in the right guitar
Lace pickups are very light because of their unique design. The sound is often described as too hifi but I would say they don't colour the sound much so you have more for your eq to play with. I use Deathbuckers in a Steinberger headless guitar and a Steinberger headless bass. They sound great. So much so that all my basses will get Lace pickups sometime soon.
