Bass instead?
Heard and saw the reviews on you tube, and thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the guitar version but when I got it and opened the box it had a bass model in it? Anyway I have a few pedals and a mooer pe100 so I gained a compressor instead of the delay. Plugged it in and used the second speaker as a stack and had to turn the volume down as it could be heard across the road at full wack, the sound is really thick with the isf set to 12 and the Mooer giving the delay with a touch of reverb and using the built-in compressor the sound is as good as some smaller setups costing a lot more. Small enough to be left setup for regular practice and with more power than you could use in a bedroom. Cracking piece of kit. Well worth the price, would recommend without reservation.

When you consider that just the amp will cost you around fifty quid with the mains plug and lead extra, and around £86 will buy you the amp and mains lead and extra speaker too, it's a no brainer really. For the price this is an exceptional little amp and Stereo extension package. As the reviews confirm it is not a toy. It is a serious and very useable guitar practise amp with some very good and versatile effects. As a home recording musician it is perfect, doubling up as my workstation monitors (stereo) and even a very good addition to my Television and CD player audio system. (not a function advertised by Blackstar?!) Fantastic set up
If you want full throttle gig power then you need something a lot more substantial, but if you want a set up that can match most Amps at a lower volume capacity then you just can't go wrong. This is a fantastic little practice set up giving you all you will need in a bedroom/ hotel environment.
