Battery Smoke Alarm
Easy to fit and use, they have a battery included as a bonus. The base plate is screwed to the ceiling then the smoke alarm twists into place. Simple.

Perfect match to replace my out of date Lloytron
I have used a Lloytron smoke alarm for many years. Because the base bracket fitting is screwed into the ceiling, I wanted to get the same model to simply insert into the old bracket. It seems Lloytron no longer market this alarm. I found this Status model to be identical to the Lloytron and so pleased to have found it, saving new fittings and screws in the ceiling.
