Holy Hi-Definition!
Batman has always been one of my favourite TV shows. This modestly priced, lovingly remastered blu ray set brings it vibrantly back to life and is a bona fide thing of beauty. As Vincent Price might have said: It's 'Egg'-squisite.

About time too
For years fans of Batman 66 would speculate to the reasons why this collection was not sitting on their shelves. the picture quality is fantastic and with the transfer to Blu-Ray the perplexing reasons to why the Joker's hair is blond on the VHS tape of the 1966 movie have all been resolved and is the correct Green. There are only two gripes, first is that the "Special Features" disc is rather sparse of gems and a trip to You Tube is more rewarding of Batman 1966 gems. Second that the menu design is totally lacking in well design, it's got that "this will do" feel that makes me wonder about the obvious lack of knowledge and imagination the designer had with reagrds to the look of the menus. But surely they had access to images, so why this end result. Having said the above it's the episodes you are here to see and they never looked so good, they stand up to the test of time and high definition. You won't be disjointed, so but it now!
