comforable, easy to clean
Easy to assemble. Has good non-slip rubber feet, but not suction so easy to remove from shower. Easy to clean rubber seat top, which can be easily removed for more intense cleaning. Swivel seat has handle which needs to be pulled up to enable seat to swivel then locks into notch, good for someone who needs assistance whilst showering as the seat can be locked and not swivel. I love this stool, I do not endorse this but my engineer husband removed the handle as I found it difficult to pull up and swivel whilst sat on the stool and this is what I wanted to do. This shower stool has a seat turning function that is very useful, but would be better in a slightly wider shower than ours, although the person this was bought for is a grown man 6 ft tall with very long legs, I have to say though it supports his weight with no problem and it you have to lift a leaver to turn the seat, not too tricky for those who can manuvre it. Well designed product
Being approx 15/16 stone in weight, I was looking for a stool with ‘X-leg’ support ie a shelf between the lower part of the legs. (The previous one had metal legs but no X-leg support and a Bambi-like splay developed) All the joints are well engineered but need a sharp thump to fit. I have no need for the swivel function but it seems to work ok.
