It's set in the future. Gone are the grimy warehouses of old in favour of all sorts of futuristic newfangledness. Retro futuristic newfangledness, at that. The wilderness levels are still here, but now they've got retro-futurism mashed in with them as well.
This is what I call a 'one more go' game. You start playing it for a quick 1/2 hour but you end up playing for hours. It is such a simple premise - get the bike to the end of the course, but with the jumps, tricks, loops the chances to crash are frequent.
The graphics are nothing to write home about but it suits the gameplay, the backgrounds are busy but not enough to distract you from the actual game. With all the user made courses available the possibilities are endless.
Its a good way to have some fun AND with local multiplayer (something that is missing from a lot of games these days) it means that you and some friends can play and the game doesn't rely on a strong internet connection which at times with online multiplayer can be very frustrating.
