Satellite receiver recorder
Overall I'm quite pleased with this product although setting up was a nightmare. I guess it's never going to be slick on such a device. Its ok, good for the price. sometimes it has to be disconnected from the sallelite connection or it wont work. turn it on and connect it and it works fine if you turn it off you have to go through this again so i leave it on stand by.. I've got alot more channels than i had from my old one though. It would be good if it had a proper epg so i could find out what was on the channels all day and all week . apart from that its a great little box. you get what you pay for. If this was improved upon it would be fantastic. Work on it please and i would certainly buy a later upgraded model from what i have nowVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap and nasty
Difficult to set up. Took me over 6 hours. TV remote interferes with this unit, tried on two TVs, a Sharp and a Panasonic. Gets very hot when on, still gets very warm in standby. Instruction manual is in black and white and it is difficult to read what is on the screenshot. The instructions are vague and the software does not match the instructions. There is no indication as to where the device was made. Suspect it to be a Chinese import and possibly a fake. Good value little box
A good little box, gets caught out with recordings of movies that have ads for other movies in them in my experience which is a bit annoying. Guide layout could be better but that might be me not having had enough time to 'tweak' it myself yet. Poor instructions.
Because the instructions are written in poor english and the diagrams are so small that you cant read them with a magnifying glass, I had great difficulty in setting the unit up. When I did get it to search for programs it did not pick up any BBC channels.It mentioned it had wi-fi but it was only wi-fi 'ready'. It was nt built in. Complicated!
While I appreciate I get more channels than a standard free view box, the set up is drawn out and complicated! The end result is confusing as the channels are not numbered in any way that is recognisable! Eg. BBC1 is numbered something like 0762 while BBC2 is numbered 0721! Channel order is completely random and it takes a while to find the channel you want! I'm slightly disappointed in the product!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap and very basic
As a basic receiver its fine but with a limited look ahead ie you can view what is on now and what is on next but that is it, you don't appear to be able to view what is on in 2 or 3 or more hours. Recording from the USB: so far I have not managed to get it to record to a 1TB hard drive or a new 16GB memory stick.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
