Great air cleaner, does good job removing smoke
This is my 3rd Ionic Breeze, 1st one lasted ten years, the interior wire broke. 2nd one now 8 years old and still works well. This one was in like new condition is quite and works well. The "Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Quadra Silent Air Purifier", was a GREAT purchase, almost like new. We had purchased our first one new, about 2008. No FILTERS to ever replace. Just pull the collector plates out and wipe them off. It was start making a very light hissing noise when it needs to be cleaned. Then just turn the complete unit (it is very light) over and back several times, this cleans the ion charging wires (much like a laser printer charges the paper), there are 2 beads that slide up and down the wires to clean them. As long as you clean it when it is needed, it will last almost forever. Remember, no moving parts, but you can feel the air moving, it is the ions in the air being drawn into the unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I have had it for a couple weeks and it works quietly. I have cleaned it easily using a damp cloth & canned air. I'm impressed and happy with them. Nice clean air
I noticed a difference in the air in my room within 2 days. It now smells just like outside! I haven't had to clean it yet but I love the 'no filter' aspect. Just wipe down the collectors.
