Light and easy to use.
The soldering station has a small, neat and easy to use control unit, and the soldering iron is small, ight and easy to use, a typical Antex good quality product. The control unit is made in China but the soldering iron is made in England - as written on the yellow handle.

I am in the shed with my Antex soldering stuff
I have had an antex 25watt soldering iron for 45 years and it was getting a bit tired and not heating fully so I looked to Antex for a replacement. The 690D station suits my needs perfectly and precisely. The ability to accurately adjust the tip temperature is especially useful. I thoroughly recommend it.
