Effective
First time I used this I had a good result as my ear was a bit blocked from using earplugs for long hours daily. Quality is great too, very strong. Obviously must be used with great care, manoeuvring it very slowly if you go near sensitive parts of ear canal. Inside the ear canal there are vibratory fibres to detect sound, they are very fragile and if damaged it would be permanent, causing hearing loss. Great idea, but not for me
I thought this was a great idea and had hoped it would be better than cotton buds, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. The head is too short and too broad for my ears, and too soft to go in more than a short way. I appreciate that is to avoid damage but the result was it collected almost no wax. The cleaner doesn't clear your ears :(
I don't think the ear wax cleaner cleans properly the ear... I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and don't feel (or see) that my ears are cleaner. Certainly gets fully into the ear. Either I had no wax or the soft spiral was just a little,too soft to remove the wax. Having said that, it certainly keeps the ear canal open. The device is well made with arrows showing which way to turn the spiral tip.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

all heads same length does not go too deep is safe around kids all I can say is it is ok

Not fit for purpose
Having used this item on 2 occasions now find that they do not do what they are made for, I believe the material is too soft to get into the ear and not strong enough to pick up any earwax to extract. Doesn't do a complete clear out

Highly recommended
I usually have an active wax production and always use the cotton to clean. One day after swimming session I had my left ear totally blocked and couldn't hear at all. I tried to clean it with no success. I work in a hospital so I went to the audiology department and they advices me to use ear drop to soften the wax. I used it for almost a week with no improve. Then I decided to buy this product and used it over three days and thanks God I removed all the wax and I can hear again. It is very useful but take care when you use to not hurt your ear drom.
