Great Kettle
Having researched it, we purchased this kettle to replace our old Aga kettle which we'd had for years & started to leak & was rather heavy for my wife who has arthritis. We have to say that we're delighted with it. It's stylish looking, lightweight, boils quickly & is altogether better designed than our old Aga kettle. The light cream colour is a perfect match for our Rayburn stove. Good looking kettle a little slow to boil.
This kettle does not boil as quickly as previous ones that have had a ground metal base. This one is enamelled. The shape of the body means that water traps inside when pouring, so you have to tip it 2 or 3 times to empty it completely. On the plus side, it looks good and matches the Rayburn well.
