The openers cam in a pack of 2. The first can I tried to open bent the opener. to the point where it is warped and no longer works. The openers were bought as a gift for a friends daughter who is going off on her Duke of Edinburgh Award camp for a week. These awards are for self reliance and planning. You get what you pay for...
This LOOKS exactly like the can openers that I used to get in my Army issued Ration Packs but trust me, it's not the same... OK so it's cheap but so is the metal & the edge is dull so it struggles to penetrate a tin won't cut metal cleanly. if at all. Simple, small, effective (when sharp)
This should be a good item. It's uncomplicated, easy to manufacture and quite basic. However as good as it should be it is pretty useless if the edge is not sharp. Tough little tin opener
I’ve used these when camping since a kid. And always carry one when touring by bike or camping. Lite weight. And once you get the knack of using them there’s no stopping. A blast from the past
