My husky is getting on now and can no longer jump into the boot of my car, his is an essential need as he requires frequent vet trips. The ladder is great very easy to fold out and clip together. It stays together well and just needs a firm hand to fold back up into its fitted together state which includes a handle. My husky is currently 42kg so a big boy and it takes his weight with just a slight dip in the middle when he walks up. My advice though is to buy before you actually need it. Mine took a few goes to get him to walk up it and i put a piece of matting on it as he didn't like the plastic under his claws.

Not expensive, lightweight plastic and not very robust. Difficult to fold up - I haven't managed to fold it up to it's original size yet, but it still fits on the back seat or in the boot when the dogs aren't in the car, so very handy. It is steady when in use, hooking on to the back bumper without slipping. The surface is a bit slippery even dry, but the dogs are gradually getting used to it - still in training to use it. So it's early days yet. But it is a big help with my lame dog.

I bought this for my 12yr Collie who could not jump into my Kia Sportage. A good value dog ramp. Easy to fold and fits in behind car seats. Lightweight easy to use. Down side, the surface is smooth and therefore slippery for my Collie to use without help to get up the ramp. Solution! I purchased a roll of non slip tape to stick on surface. No more slipping as now collie has a firm footing, which is great for her and my back, as now I do not have to lift her into the car. Would recommend this product.

I have the exact same dog in the picture and he finds it in no way as easy as it shows in the picture. He was slipping on it and falling flat on his face, despite his best efforts to try and get into the car. After trying it for a few times I have given up on it, Altho I might try getting some form of carpet material to stick onto it. It's far too slidy and slippery for dogs to climb up, and the grooves in it don't help any either, altho they might for small dogs with small paws, but not for dogs like mine and the one in the pic.

Perfect for my pooch, may need to stick carpet to it as it’s quite slippery and the dog doesn’t like using when wet, other than that it’s perfect size, lightweight and sturdy
