Very nice switch, have ordered multiple types and this is the best I have found for the price.
This is a great switch at a great price. Installing them is fairly simple and they can be done in about ten minutes with a screwdriver and pliers. Pros: Includes everything you need if you are replacing a regular switch even a new faceplate. Highly adjustable. Can carry a good load. You don't have to remember to turn off the lights. Convenient, hands free. Impresses guests when they turn on the light by themselves. Can be installed by average home-owner. There is a video out there... Cons: Payoff may take longer than you think depending on load. Challenging for small metallic boxes that may have metal conduit connectors and nut rings inside. You'll want more of them, then you'll wish for them with wifi and logging! You could wire one of these up to an outlet, making them a switched outlet that you could plug a load into like lamps and fans. You get the idea, these are awesome switches at a great price.... Yes, they work with florescent lighting I have one wired to two 2x4 4bulb troffers.

I cannot vouch for the longevity of the TSOS5-W sensor switch, but it is working very well for us. The installation was pretty straightforward (If you can wire a light switch, then you should be able to wire this). Comes with a cover plate and wire nuts. The only complaint about the install would be the switch itself is very large. Approximately twice the width of a light switch and twice the depth...so took a little bit to get into the gang box. All features work very well so far. You can adjust everything on it. Sensitivity of the motion sensor, the delay time before the load kicks on (we are using it for a light/fan in kids bathroom), as well as how long you want the load to stay on. Seems very well made. easy to install great features

Good Light switch
I wired it up right when i got this Switch and it works wonders. Their are days where i have to vacuum my steps and need the light to be on so this switch is awesome. I havent used it so far

Does what I need
It has both manual on and manual off. That's important to me because my workbench is on the other side of the garage away from the switch. I wish the light sensitivity worked, it doesn't. Even with windows in the garage even with the doors up, set the sensitivity up or down it doesn't matter. Oh well, other than that I like the switch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
