Excellent value and easy to use with plenty of features.
This solder station feels robust and well made compared to my previous (cheaper) station. The ability to have pre set temperatures is a first for me and very handy to change temperature at the press of a button. The temperature range seems accurate and easy to see with the LCD screen. The solder iron itself is comfortable to hold and has plenty of cable, to enable the station to be on a low shelf above work station and still comfortably reach the work. Temperature controlled soldering iron
This soldering iron I found to be absolutely excellent. I am not normally moved to write reviews however this device I found to be of high quality and well made, easy to use and gave a relative novice great results. It appears to be much better value than the competiton. I did buy a different tip for the PCB work and was thankful that I had done so. Excellent value & build quality
For a rework & soldering station at this price I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it turned out to be, construction quality is better than some of the more expensive stations, the only downside I found was the very poor instructions which were obviously translated from Chinese (very badly) but this is my only complaint & doesn't detract from how pleased I am with my purchase.
