This highly versatile, blue SkyRC IMAX B6AC rapid battery charger also has discharge functionality. It's designed to hold 1-15 NiCad or nickel-metal hydride cells, and 1-6 lithium-ion or lithium polymer cells. In addition, it detects the state of lithium batteries and balances their outputs for more efficient charging and discharging. Genuine SKYRC iMax B6AC balance charger V2
Bought this product to enable me to charge various battery packs I was making up for various projects I had in mind. Realised when I had bought it, that it could charge just about all my rechargeable batteries I had. The unit has so many modes and combinations, it is very versatile. The control panel is simple yet intuitive. I wanted to make sure I bough an original, not a copy (and there are probably more copies out there than originals) Lots of YouTube reviews enabled me to buy the right one, from a U.K. seller, for only a couple of pounds more than a copy, which many eBay sellers seem to be peddling with impunity : BE CAREFUL - the copies are simply not as safe or good for your expensive battery packs - check the reviews. I wanted the AC model (and V2) so I didn't need a separate 12v supply when using it (although this unit will work as a field charger having a 12v in port) and because 99% of my charging would be done at home (if not all). The display is bright and clear, the unit is supplied with a few adaptors as standard. I will be making my own customised balance leads, so no issues there. Allows you to easily find 'failing' cells in packs that may be letting you down and has a few modes that may even bring some back to life. Allows charging / balancing / cycling / re-peaking of all battery types I am ever going to use, and one I had never heard of. All in all everything you need at a very good price. Much better than standard IMAX B6AC
The SKYRC Imax B6AC has many more functions and charges more types of batteries than the cheaper Imax B6AC version, not only that but it is also up dateable from the SKYRC web site via a mini USB socket so as new types of batteries become available your charger can keep up. In this case it is worth spending a little more for a genuine SKYRC unit which can be authenticated on the manufacturers web site.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I am so glad I purchased the Genuine version of this unit. It is easy to use, it is SAFE to use and reliable when safely charging Li ion cells. A great amount of care has gone into the design and the unit copes well with a range of cell types and voltages. Accurate cell balancing is achieved and fully displayed on the easy-read display. Better than the b6!
Hi all, I purchased this B6AC v2 because as the orig was very professional, the ac powered version is going to be at least as good (also as I didn't get a power supply with the first one!). It has all the facilities the first version has and then some! It's too complex to explain those here, but as an experienced battery handler, I can rate this a damn good charger, especially if used with optional extras which you can search for on Ebay! My power wall
I bought this charger to charge reclaimed 18650 cells. It is a bit slow for charging all my batteries. It comes in to it own though to bring up the really low voltage ones i.e. below 1 volt. They are inserted 4 at a time in parallel and charged at 500 mA or 1 amp. This means of course that each cell gets either 125mA or 500mA to bring it up slowly.
