Saves time
Been building new and scratch builds for my Z & N scale trains for years including 1/32 slot track layout, These HO/1/64th buildings for my AFX track has been a lot of fun, yes it's card stock, with some small scratch items to living things up such as lighting, adding many small scale accessories and these are fantastic. i assembled ten of the different structures, wish i had more room on my layout. After the the second kit, instructions were not needed, a little imagination, hot glue, CA and reinforce with popsicle sticks and balsa wood where needed helps a alot. people (figures) help make these come to life.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Difficult
Very poor instructions. Not for beginners, this was my second model but there will not be a third. Directions left out pieces of structure. Was able to complete, but will not do this type again.

Exquisitely detailed trackside scenery.
The Innovative Hobbies company out of Minnesota has a fantastic collection of photo-realistic scenery for your slot car or train layout. The kits come flat and have to be cut out of paper, and then there are detailed instructions on how to put them together. As the photos show, this "modern grandstand" kit features realistic restrooms and a snack bar on the back of the grandstand. Use a glue gun and quick-drying hot glue for these as it dries clear instead of milky-like craft glue and is MUCH easier to use. Buy one! They're priced fairly and Innovative sends them quickly and securely.
