Amazing value for money.
I bought one to try it and finished up with two more! These cameras have been a great addition to my home alarm system. If the alarm is activated I receive a message and can check the strategically located cameras for any signs of an Intruder. They are amazingly simple to set up using the App on a smartphone which enables you to access them from anywhere with WiFi or 4G. The picture quality is very acceptable although there can be some lag, depending on the quality of the connection. In low light conditions the cameras automatically switch to night mode turning on a number of infrared LEDs situated around the lens. Again the picture quality (in black and white) is very acceptable. The cameras can either be permanently mounted or used free standing depending on your requirements. All in all a very good value purchase with the option of a very reasonable subscription to their cloud facility should you require notification and a recording of events should the camera be triggered by movement. I don't need that facility as I would receive notification from my alarm, but a nice touch is that any activity can be recorded to your smart phone direct from the camera as either a snapshot or as a video recording. Superb Value
Set up takes ten minutes but you MUST have a smartphone (android OR Apple) to do it. Basically you just plug it in download the app and it talks you through the whole process. Thats the camera up and running. Now you set up a Tend iSecurity+ account and you get 14 days worth of motion detection capture (either sitll images for about three quid or video clips for about eight quid a month) - price is PER camera. Honestly its by far the best system I have come across. So you can have a security camera for twenty quid - connected to your WiFi so you can view it LIVE on your phone. AND you can keep a fortnights worth of online motion detection videos (stored in the cloud on your iSecurity+ account) in case anything happens for an £8/month subscription. Just make sure you buy the HD version of the camera - it still has night vision but it is MILES better quality than the other version. WOW !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
