Consumer AdviceContains moderate violence, injury detail and strong drug references
This is a series that reminds of my younger years (though I´m not THAT old yet). It´s fascinating to see that the special effects aren´t that outdated even though the years have passed. If you saw this when it first came out on TV I can recommend you to buy it and relive those moments once again, it´s a small cost for a piece of history & entertainment.
This version of the HG Wells character is strangely under-rated though perhaps I am biased due to being from a certain generation.
The show is in colour and based in a high tech setting (for the 70s). The characters are very engaging and the way the character was brought into the 1970's was very fresh. Watching it again made me realise how entertaining it still is.
Sadly though many people will find it difficult to watch a show from that long ago, seeing as plots move much quicker on today's tv.
