Very good value
Very good value - it appears genuinely to be a boxed brand new phone, albeit a very old model. I can never understand why some people feel they have to spend hundreds of pounds on a brand new iphone when something like this will easily meet most user's daily needs. It came with Android 4.4 installed, which it promptly self-upgraded to version 5.1. Actually I bought it because I wanted to install a totally different operating system - the Linux-based Ubuntu Touch from UBports. I have now done that, and it works well in that guise too. My only small reservation is that it doesn't have a micro-SD card slot - though in practice that doesn't really seem to matter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked fine; limited lifetime
I bought this after I accidentally dropped and smashed my old nexus 5. It was described as good condition; cosmetically it had some chunks of plastic missing from the border, the software worked fine, however seemed to have a considerably worse camera app than my old phone, and a much worse battery life. I used it for about 2 months before the power button completely broke, making the phone redundant until the power button is completely replaced. For a phone in "good condition" this is exceptionally poor. It also froze midway through backing up holiday photos, with no means to unfreeze or restart it, meaning I may well have also lost 5 weeks worth of pictures and memories.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I have been really pleased with this phone. It's fast smooth, and a joy to use. Runs all my apps with no effort. Will built and with a Ballistic Case is solid. My Favourite Android
It's the nexus 5 - you know what it's like. It's a solid-as-a-rock android phone that is somehow still usable for a person with small hands like myself. Why did I buy this instead of another android phone? Because it has stock android OS on it - which means that it has the OS exactly as its developers intended it; without all the guff that Samsung or HTC want to bung on it. I love this phone
Prior to the Nexus 5 I was using Apple products for 6 years and I never thought I could like an android as much. I used a Samsung galaxy S4 for a few weeks and hated it because of the interface Samsung had used but the Nexus is great. The best way to describe it is vanilla android, it's plain which allows you to customise it as you want too. Nexus 5 - older higher grade phone
Jet still powerful enough. Soon(in couple years) will miss some obvious new functions (better camera, maybe contact less payment support...).
