    Does the job

    I have used a mechanics stethoscope for many years to listen to bearings etc. This one was bought to replace my old unit which was no longer useable. Whilst of a lesser quality, this one performed very well when listening to a noisy machine spindle.

    Surprisingly good!

    Yes, simple but surprisingly effective. The flexible tubes are a bit cheap and one suffered in the packaging so a cost cutting exercise too far "Silverline" but a minor point and very good otherwise.
