  • It's OK.

If you want that 12mm (24mm APS-C) focal length, and don't want a prime, then this lens is ideal. Because it is a zoom, it is an ideal 'walk around' lens, and will cover most of what you want to shot, more so in an urban environment than a rural one. So far, I have come to like this lens as the one to have on the camera for everyday shooting as I prefer the 12mm wide end to the 14mm of the kit zoom. Image quality is quite good, and the compactness of this lens means that you can carry a camera around when you may not with the large kit zoom. All in all, a nice little lens.

  • Does what it says,,

Great, lightweight, walk about or travel lens. Obviously doesn't match a prime lens but for most people's needs and most shots is ideal. Leave on your camera and enjoy. Mine is paired with OMD E10 - really effective combo. Great value and recommended.

  • The best M4/3 'folding' lens?

I bought this to replace the Olympus 14-42 lens that came with an OMD-EM10 mkII. It is noticeably sharper, easier to use IMO (manual zoom not electrical), and hardly any bigger. Ideal if you want decent quality while keeping the camera relatively small. I find the wider angle more of an advantage than the shorter maximum zoom. The only thing I would like to see is addition of a manual focus ring.

  • This is now my favourite all round lens.

Really like this lens - It's so small and lightweight, great for just keeping in your bag at all times. It's fast focusing, perfect for street photography. 12mm is wide enough for nice landscapes, and it takes very sharp images (sharper than the standard 14mm-42mm kit lens) The Mega O.I.S is adequate, helps give you lovely sharp images. However you have to be careful in video mode, it does a good job at taking care of up and down, as well as side to side movement, but doesn't seem to cope well with twisting motion. There is no manual focus ring. However I've never felt the need for it, since the auto focus on this is so fast and accurate. The plastic connector is not really an issue unless you're a bit heavy handed. This is now my favourite go to lens, well worth the price of around £110 (Date of purchase August 2019)

  • Great little lens

The 35mm equivalent of 24mm/f3.5, 28mm/f3.7, 35mm/f4.2 and 50mm/f5.1 focal lengths in one 70 gram package. My Olympus E-M10 mark iii fits comfortably in a coat pocket with this attached.

  • Nice little lens.

My first surprise was the outside of the lens is metal not plastic although the mount is plastic. You have to rotate the front of the lens to open it and make the lens ready to take photos. The zoom range of 12 to 32mm gives you an angle of view of 24 to 64mm on micro 4/3 cameras. The lens is tiny and is great for my GX7 but looks very small on my GH3. The image quality is very good for such a low priced lens and if you don't mind working with the 3.5 to 5.6 maximum apertures, which I don't its a good little lens.

  • Super lens

First impressions aren't great. The lens is plasticky and so small that it doesn't look like a proper piece of kit. But the image quality is excellent, much better than lenses costing a lot more. It's so small and light, it will probably be staying on my camera. Image quality is better than the equivalent Olympus 14-42mm EZ pancake lens.

  • Compact zoom lens

A tiny zoom offering excellent results. By putting this on my Olympus OMD I have the combination of a great optic with a high end camera that can fit in a coat pocket or small bag for travel photography.

  • Good value compact lens for M4/3 system

Perfect walk around lens for my Olympus OMD EM10 Mkii. Would have liked a manual focus ring but auto focus has proved excellent.

  • Pocket Sized Lens

Terrific little lens, sharp, lightweight and tiny. Ideal walkabout lens. I use it with my Olympus E-PL5 paired with the Panasonic 35-100 as a pocket sized system that lives in the car and always available. Great value for money.
