Great Camera
This camera is amazing, for an older camera it works well. Its a tape recording system and that's fine for me. I love the hd picture quality and the superb audio inputs with 48v phantom power, I can use high end studio microphones. Easily record to computer with firewire cable with video recording software. I love it so much, this is my number 2.

Not perfect playback
These cameras have trouble playing tapes without the images freezing up and Audio going dead for a few seconds.this is very annoying and causes a large error in editing.you have to re capture the tape and maby it will do it in a different spot so you can combine tape capture in a. Different spot lots of wasted time I have 4of them and they all do it

Love the camera. Been wanting one for a while. Gonna take some time to adjust to it coming from an old canon gl2. So many fancy new buttons and options. It's not to heavy but significantly heavier than my last camcorder. Built in mic was slightly damaged in shipping but nothing some super glue can't fix.
